Where I'm Headed: Data-Driven Strategies

The next chapter of my work focuses on integrating data analytics into the instructional design process. Too often, training programs are built on assumptions and evaluated through end-of-course surveys that tell us very little about what actually changed. I want to close that gap.

By applying data science methods — learner analytics, performance metrics, engagement patterns, and outcome tracking — instructional designers can move from designing what we think will work to designing what the evidence shows does work. This means programs that adapt to learner needs, identify struggling concepts early, and demonstrate real return on investment.
