I'm currently a Senior Instructional Designer at Cigna, where I design and develop compliance training modules. The work involves analyzing business needs, building curricula that meet strict regulatory requirements, and creating training that's engaging and accessible — not just technically compliant. I partner closely with subject matter experts to keep content accurate, and I rely on current learning technology to ensure the experience is interactive and retention-focused. Compliance training has a reputation for being dry. Part of my job is proving that reputation doesn't have to be earned.

Alongside this work, I recently completed an online Master's in Data Science at Indiana University — the same institution where I earned my Ph.D. This wasn't a pivot away from instructional design; it was an investment in its future. I believe the next generation of learning programs will be shaped by people who can both design thoughtful experiences and interpret the data those experiences produce. That's the space I want to be a part of.
