My Approach
Strong instructional design begins with understanding the learner, the context, and the goal — not with picking a tool or a template. I draw on established adult learning theories and frameworks like ADDIE, SAM, and Bloom's Taxonomy, but I treat them as starting points rather than scripts. Every project deserves a design that fits its audience, whether that's a graduate seminar, a compliance module, or a multi-week professional development program.
I care equally about the craft and the outcome. A well-designed course should feel intentional in its pacing, clear in its objectives, and respectful of the learner's time.
